This Peace Pole was created by the Students of our 2014 Summer Art Camp.
Peace Poles are created as monuments to peace and can be found on all the continents around the world. Every Peace Pole made proclaims the prayer “May Peace Prevail on Earth” Our Peace Pole contains this message in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
The Peace Pole includes textured ceramic tiles created by the students. Each tile is as different and unique as the child that made it. Creating a Peace Pole is a way of bringing people together to inspire, awaken and uplift the human consciousness the world over.
The Peace Pole symbolizes the oneness of humanity and our common wish for a world at peace. It also reminds us to think, speak and act in the spirit of peace and harmony. Our Peace Pole stands as a silent visual for peace to prevail on earth.
